Richard L. Sanquini has been a director of our company since 1994. Mr. Sanquini is a consultant in the semiconductor industry and is the former Chairman of the Board of PortalPlayer, Inc., a public company that developed the silicon and operating system firmware for the Apple iPod, and was acquired by NVIDIA Corporation in January 2007. Mr. Sanquini retired from National Semiconductor in 1999, after a 20-year tenure, where he managed key business units, including microprocessors and microcontrollers, served as Chief Technology Officer, managed business development and intellectual property protection, and was Chairman of the Board for two China joint ventures. Prior to National Semiconductor, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Information Storage Devices, and in various executive positions at RCA. Mr. Sanquini is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pixelworks Inc., a public company, and on the Boards of Directors of four private companies. Mr. Sanquini formerly served on the Board of Directors of ZiLOG, Inc., a public company, which is a fabless semiconductor supplier of microprocessor and microcontroller semiconductor devices, or micrologic products. Mr. Sanquini holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, Wisconsin.
