Materion Corporation (NYSE: MTRN) is an integrated producer of high performance advanced engineered materials used in a variety of electrical, electronic, thermal and structural applications. Our products are sold into numerous markets, including consumer electronics, defense and science, industrial components and commercial aerospace, automotive electronics, telecommunications infrastructure, energy, medical and appliance.

On March 8, 2011, we changed the name of our Company to Materion Corporation. The names of all of our active subsidiaries are changing as well and each subsidiary will have Materion as part of their name. The legal and ownership structure of our subsidiaries will remain unchanged.

This name change did not alter our senior management structure or how the chief decision maker evaluates the performance of our businesses. We continue to have the same four reportable segments as we had previously with no change in their make up, although the names of those segments have changed. The segments are as follows:

• The Advanced Material Technologies segment consists of Materion Advanced Materials Technologies and Services Inc. and Materion Technologies Inc.;
• The Performance Alloys segment consists of Brush Performance Alloys and hydroxide;
• The Beryllium and Composites segment consists of beryllium products including beryllia ceramic manufactured by Materion Ceramics Inc.; and
• The Technical Materials segment consists of Materion Technical Materials Inc.
