HONG KONG, October 12, 2011 - J.P. Morgan Worldwide Securities Services ("WSS") has named Kirit Bhatia Head of Technical Sales, Asia ex-Japan, as the firm continues to strengthen its client servicing capabilities and further align its business with its clients' strategic growth plans.
Responsible for developing complex, integrated asset servicing solutions for J.P. Morgan's Asia-based clients, Bhatia will oversee a team comprising experienced specialists across securities lending, collateral management, alternatives, fund services, transition management and transfer agency. Reporting in Asia Pacific to Shaun Parkes, Chief Executive Officer, Asia-ex Japan, J.P. Morgan Worldwide Securities Services and globally to Paul Wilson, International Head of Financing & Markets Products Sales and Relationship Management, Bhatia transferred from J.P. Morgan London, where he held a number of senior sales, product and financial management positions within the firm's Treasury & Securities Services and Investment Bank businesses.
