CHERRY HILL, N.J., May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- inTEST Corporation (Nasdaq: INTT) announced today that three of its manufacturing operations have moved to new upgraded facilities. inTEST had planned these facility upgrades since mid-2000 in response to the manufacturing capacity constraints experienced in 2000. The facilities upgraded include inTEST's Temptronic subsidiary in Sharon, MA, inTEST Limited in Thame, UK, and inTEST Pte Ltd, Singapore. All of these operations have significantly increased their respective manufacturing capacities to be better positioned to respond to the industry upturn when it occurs.
William M. Stone, President and CEO of Temptronic, said, "This new and highly modern facility gives us the additional floor space needed to manufacture our products in a more just-in-time fashion and enables us to have greater flexibility in scheduling customer orders. This new location is now a purpose built design center with a quality inspection CMM and several new machining centers that enable us to improve our production efficiencies, reduce our lead times for custom built orders, and gives us greater flexibility in the scheduling of customer orders."
