inTEST Announces the Moving of Three New Facilities

CHERRY HILL, N.J., May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- inTEST Corporation (Nasdaq: INTT) announced today that three of its manufacturing operations have moved to new upgraded facilities. inTEST had planned these facility upgrades since mid-2000 in response to the manufacturing capacity constraints experienced in 2000. The facilities upgraded include inTEST's Temptronic subsidiary in Sharon, MA, inTEST Limited in Thame, UK, and inTEST Pte Ltd, Singapore. All of these operations have significantly increased their respective manufacturing capacities to be better positioned to respond to the industry upturn when it occurs.

William M. Stone, President and CEO of Temptronic, said, "This new and highly modern facility gives us the additional floor space needed to manufacture our products in a more just-in-time fashion and enables us to have greater flexibility in scheduling customer orders. In addition, we have been working very hard to modularize our product lines, and with this new facility our ability to quickly respond to market-driven product changes is greatly enhanced. Temptronic has positioned itself to be a leader in its field of expertise, and with this new facility we can now provide even greater response to both our current and future customers."

Julian Partington, Managing Director of inTEST Limited, said, "By increasing our floor space almost four-fold, we now have the additional ability to manufacture and support all of our positioner, docking and interface products locally, and can now offer Temptronic's UK customers a local service and support depot. This new location is now a purpose built design center with a quality inspection CMM and several new machining centers that enable us to improve our production efficiencies, reduce our lead times for custom built orders, and gives us greater flexibility in the scheduling of customer orders."

Lay Chee Sen, Managing Director of inTEST Pte Ltd, said, "Our new facility enables our operation to take a more active role in the manufacture of many of inTEST's product offerings and gives us greater flexibility in product scheduling. With the additional space and our location here in Singapore, we are positioned to react to new customer orders more rapidly than many of our competitors, and can provide service and support for all of inTEST's products from this new location."

Addresses and contact information for these new locations can be found on inTEST's website at www.intest.com.
