inTEST Corporation Recognized for Excellence by Texas Instruments

inTEST's Mechanical and Electrical Product Segments Awarded TI's 2011 Supplier Excellence Award

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 04/17/12 -- inTEST Corporation (NASDAQ: INTT), an independent designer, manufacturer and marketer of temperature management products and semiconductor automatic test equipment (ATE) interface solutions, today announced that the Company was selected by Texas Instruments (TI) as a 2011 Supplier Excellence Award recipient in recognition of its role in supporting the manufacture of TI's innovative products. Specifically, inTEST's Mechanical and Electrical Product Segments were recognized for their docking, manipulator, and wafer probing interface products. The Supplier Excellence award was presented to inTEST Corporation on April 13, 2012.

The award, given annually, honors firms whose dedication and commitment in supplying products and services meet TI's high standards for excellence. inTEST's Universal Test Head Manipulators are designed to securely hold and precisely position test heads weighing up to 3,000 pounds. Any given tester model is designed to test a wide variety of different Integrated Circuits (ICs). Because each type of IC has different circuit configurations, an adapter is needed between the "generic" tester and the particular kind of IC being tested. inTEST tester interfaces are used to doing this. They electronically customize the tester interface, providing an electronic bridge between the tester and the specific type of IC being tested.
