Dollar General Receives Top Award for Exceptional Military Support

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn., Nov 11, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Employer Support of Guard and Reserve (ESGR) awarded its Pro Patria award today to Dollar General Corporation. The award was presented as part of the company's Veterans Day ceremony at its Store Support Center.

The Pro Patria award is presented annually to the one employer in each state or territory that has provided the most exceptional support of our national defense through leadership practices and personnel policies that support their National Guard and Reserve employees.
