number of stores, has created a new scholarship and education program
for its 90,000 employees and their families.

The program also includes a separate scholarship for qualifying
employees to help defray costs for undergraduate classes at an
accredited college or university of the employee's choosing.
Dollar General continues its dedication to the growth and development of
its employees and the work force at large. In addition to the company's
ongoing reimbursement program for employees who are studying for the
General Education Development (GED) exam, the Dollar General Literacy
