Corning's 2003, 2004 and 2005 Annual Reports must be read in conjunction with Corning's 2005 Annual Report on Form 10-K/A filed May 9, 2006. Corning filed that amended 2005 Form 10-K/A after it determined accounting for the 2003 Pittsburgh Corning Corporation (PCC) asbestos litigation settlement was not in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
