Airgas and Johnson Controls Sign Five-Year Supply Agreement

RADNOR, PA - March 28, 2011 - Airgas, Inc. (NYSE: ARG), today announced it has signed a strategic supply agreement with Johnson Controls, Inc., (NYSE: JCI-PZ), a Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based global diversified company in the building, automotive and battery power industry. Airgas will supply Johnson Controls with refrigerant gas, bulk and packaged industrial gas, welding hardgoods and related products, and personal protection equipment (PPE). The five-year agreement will be part of the Airgas Strategic Accounts program which serves multi-location customers who benefit from sole-source supply and supply chain management services.

"This agreement strengthens our partnership by extending Airgas supply to all three principal operating groups, including Building Efficiency, Automotive Experience and Power Solutions."
